  • Turmeric: 1 teaspoon
  • Dried parsley: 1 tablespoon

Prepare the potatoes and chicken

take the potatoes and place them in a pan filled with two cups of water over medium heat to cook for 40 mins. In a different pan, add the chicken breast, some turmeric, one teaspoon of salt, and two cups of water. Cook over medium heat for 40 mins. While the potatoes continue to boil, cook the chicken breast uncovered. Filling the saucepan helps the chicken cook and absorb more flavor from the hot water mixed with turmeric.
